Erasmus+ in Andalusia: LIK Students Complete International Internship Program in Cómpeta

From June 8 to June 18, 2026, the picturesque mountain village of Cómpeta in Andalusia will become an international creative learning environment for 20 students from the Photography, Film and Media Design program at the LIK Academy of Photo and Design. As part of an Erasmus+ project, the students will complete an intensive professional internship in Spain and gain valuable international work experience.

During their stay, the students will collaborate with numerous companies and institutions in Cómpeta. The aim of the project is to combine intercultural exchange, creative collaboration, and hands-on professional experience. The young creatives will be integrated into real working environments and support local businesses in the fields of photography, film production, social media, content creation, and media design.

The active support of the municipality of Cómpeta is especially appreciated. The town hall itself is also providing internship positions for a team of female students. This represents a strong commitment to European educational cooperation and cultural exchange.

A special highlight was the official signing of the internship agreement by the Mayor of Cómpeta, Rosa Luz Fernández, together with the Managing Directors of the LIK Academy of Photo and Design, Nadja Gusenbauer and Eric Berger. This agreement further strengthens the collaboration between the LIK Academy and the municipality of Cómpeta and lays an important foundation for future international educational projects.

“International practical experience is an essential part of modern creative education. Our students have the opportunity not only to grow professionally, but also to broaden their cultural perspectives,” emphasize Nadja Gusenbauer and Eric Berger.

The Erasmus+ internship program in Andalusia uniquely combines education, creativity, and European cooperation. At the same time, local businesses and institutions benefit from the students’ fresh ideas, international perspectives, and creative know-how.

The LIK Academy would like to sincerely thank all participating companies, partners, and the municipality of Cómpeta for their support and trust in this forward-looking project.
